Hebrews 11: 17 - 31

All these people from the Old Testament pleased God with their faith.

He asked them to do some CRAZY things! And they chose to obey. The result was blessings of children/fruitfulness, victory, life and more.

Those challenges and blessings still apply for us now. They still apply to me and you. I didn't understand three years ago why God asked me to come Hong Kong. It wasn't my game plan. I struggled with the idea that God wanted me in HK when I had a good church, a job, good friends and more in Toronto. It made even less sense when I had non-Christian parents that I feared would keep me from going to church. There was no job, no friends nor church in sight.

But moving out of faith was the best thing for me. I got more than I imagined. A great church, great friends, a comfortable job, my family's support, healing...the list runs on. It was more than I thought was possible.

Yes, faith in Abba leads to abundant blessings. But more importantly, I challenge you all to pursue the sweetest thing: a personal relationship with our Father in heaven. As you pursue and obey Him, blessings will pursue you.

Have a great day everyone. :)

you guys have probably heard about about a book/movie titled "yes man". i believe if we want to be used by God in a greater extent we have to be yes men for God.

just like Bonnie mentioned, when we walk in faith and start trusting in Him, wonderful things happen.

for myself asking Tracie out and agreeing to be transferred to Singapore are both acts of faith. i stopped doubting and started trusting.
