2 Peter 2:1-22

It says "Many will follow", speaking about people who would be deceived by the false teachers...best way for us to avoid this is to really know our Word and to test everything against it.

as God has done so in the past, we can be confident that God will rescue godly men and hold the unrighteous for the day of judgment.

when God is speaking about the unrighteous, the words "bold, arrogant, slander, blaspheme, boastful" all leap off the page. we would be wise to be cautious in this area and to be clothed always with humility and reverent fear.

people always ask me why i want to be Christian, and telling me that it's so restrictive. they tell me that life without God promises "freedom", but like the Word says they themselves are "slaves of depravity".

our prayer is that they may come to the knowledge of God and so be truly set free. this is our purpose to share with them the Gospel.

i am not ashamed of the Gospel, because it is the power of God for the salvation of everyone who believes...
