James 2:18-3:18

Does your actions/deeds carry out your faith? It is through that living faith we experience that connection with God and witness Him in action. Hebrews 11:1.

Please pray for the leaders of Solomon's Porch. They really need it! I really need it! Your blessings and prayers are heard by God and are powerful! I can testify of one occasion where I had vivid nightmares and I shared this with the Intercessory Prayer Team. They prayed over me and I slept so well!

Tongues are a fickle thing. Mine is. This passage suggests to me that instead of relying on my tongue to do good things, I can do good by action. Loving others by giving them what they need and loving God by spending time with Him and doing what He asks of me.

Tough but good things for all of us to think about:
- Why are you doing good? Is it for your "selfish ambition"? Or is it "humility that comes from wisdom" that spurs you on?
- Are you boasting and/or lying about the things you do?
- People may look at you and see you as a Christ-centered person, but God sees your heart. If the motivation for your works are jealousy and selfishness, repent and ask the Holy Spirit to give you God's wisdom which is all of v17 - 18. Also know you have the authority to command the demonic things to go to Jesus' feet. Very much like how Pr. Jenny taught us in the relationship seminar. And if you need guidance, please remember we are available for you.

May the Holy Spirit speak deep into your hearts and convict you of God's desire to see goodness overflow from your life.

See you tonight!
