2 Peter 3
Interview with Myself:
Q: How do I react to people who taunt me about Jesus' seemingly delayed coming?
A: Well, I have friends that sadly, encourage me to do things that are not good. I am sorely tempted and I have stumbled along the way. Father You forgive me, but forgive them Father, they know not what they do!
I need to speak the gospel and answer in love. He has perfect timing and He waits so that all may hear the gospel. He gives me and my family time to be saved. He gives your family time to be saved! The Lord's patience gives people time to be saved.
Q: How will I respond to the day of the Lord?
A: Calmly, joyfully and not running away to "pray". You?

in verse 1, Peter tells us why he writes these two letters: "to stimulate you to wholesome thinking". Is that happening with us?
what is being patient? sometimes i think patience is learning to see things in God's timing. being patient just means trusting God enough to leave the exact timing of events in His hands.
today God commands us to "live holy and godly lives"; to "make every effort to be found spotless, blameless and at peace with him"; and to "be on our guard". let's continue to encourage one another to do this, to step it up, and to glorify God in all we are!!
