1 John 3:7-24
Continuing on his thoughts on hate, today we are told that anyone who hates is a murderer and anyone who is a murderer does not have eternal life. Pretty serious stuff.
another hard core msg today: "and we ought to lay down our lives for our brothers". wow. are we ready to do this given opportunity?
"...let us not love with words or tongue but with actions and truth." amen. let's go out there and love family, friends, co-workers, brothers/sisters and strangers.
let's continue to obey His commands: believe in Him and love one another and so be able to enjoy His fellowship.

Ps. 122:1-2. When we feel distress, (under attack) the key is to come into the house of the Lord and everything will change. We need to spend time in God's house and in His presence. We will receive an understanding of our situation in the House of God. There is something about coming in His presence, and suddenly we receive a revelation. V 4-5 when the saints of God coming together, we flow in unity and brotherly (or sisterly) love. That's good news, friends.
Do you know the mandate for us Christian is to pray for the "Peace of Jerusalem" - 122:6-9. Long time ago, I was trying to think how something could work in my office, fairly stressed out, I asked God to give me a solution, instead an audible voice reminded me "to pray for the peace of Jerusalem", I said God what had that to do with my trouble. Later I found out it is biblical for all Christians to pray for the peace of Jerusalem. We should ask the Lord to give peace to the city of Jerusalem. Since Jerusalem represents the Church, therefore, we should also pray for the Church to enjoy peace and unity.
Peace and prosperity are intimately linked and intertwined. The peace offering of Lev 3 is also known as "the offering of prosperity". Peace means having oneness with God, as well as our neighbours. Let us remember the peace and prosperity of not only the natural Jerusalem bu also the Church of Jesus Christ. Friends, dont let the enemy robs your daily joy, do not come short of any of God's blessings that He has for you. His blessings come through obedience and one of His greatest blessings is peace
